2017 to date

He worked for Indigo Kulani Group (IKG) as Business Development Executive and in 2018 joined iX engineers as Sales Executive. 

 

2007-2017

In 2007, he was appointed as Business Development Executive for Ninham Shand, with its head office in Cape Town. In 2008 Africon, Ninham Shand (South African companies) merged with Connell Wagner (Australian) to become Aurecon whose head office was in Melbourne, Australia.

At Aurecon, he worked as Client Executive Director for DBSA, National DPW&I including regional & provincial departments, Transnet National Port Authority, IDT, National department of Health, Department of Education - ASIDI schools project, GDID including Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape provinces among others.

 

2004-2006:

While working for National Housing Finance Corporation (NHFC) he was involved in the Breaking new Ground (BnG) Presidential Pilot Projects (Housing) in the Eastern Cape Province. He was a member of the Project Steering Committee which involves National Housing department, EC Provincial Housing departments and the three Local Governments (namely, Nelson Mandela Bay Metro, Buffalo City and King Sabatha Dalindyebo municipalities). He was part of the team that concluded the MOU  between the Eastern Cape Provincial government, Metros (BCM, NMBM)  and NHFC regarding the implementation of the above Breaking New Ground  projects (BnG)), which included Zanemvula (Gqeberha), Duncan Village (East London), Ngangelizwe (Mthata) Project. As part of the team at NHFC, he was involved in the funding of the N2 gateway project in the Western Cape in 2007.

 

2001-2003

While working Project Manager for Gauteng Economic Development Agency (GEDA – now known as Gauteng Growth and Development Agency - GGDA), He was responsible for Investment Facilitations for the International investors communities to appreciate the ease of doing business in South Africa with special reference to Gauteng province. By virtue of his position as Project Manager, He was instrumental in promoting Gauteng Companies and their products internationally in countries like Germany, Japan and Italy, i.e. Banditos Spice.

 

He was involved in beneficiation of minerals resources with Rand Refinery based in Germiston, this project included woo-ing and encouraging the international jewelry manufactures to invest in South Africa with specific reference to Gauteng Province. While negotiating the beneficiation of minerals/resources involved in the negotiations of the Gold Loan with the Department of Trade and Industry, Rand Refinery, DBSA and Selma (Italian jewelry manufacturer). From 7th November to the 5th December 2002. He, at the invitation of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), attended a training course on international Export/Import training in Osaka, Japan. He was also invited to address the Osaka University international students on economic developments and ease of doing business  in RSA (at the university’s invitation) and the Osaka Business community which included Daikin Industries, Sonny, Nissan, NTT DoCoMo etc.

 

1999-2001

He worked with a USAID partnered company called Sustainable Medium Enterprise Development as Business Development Officer, with Projects financed by USAID and managed by Enterprise Development and Innovations (Pty) Ltd.

 

 

1993-1997

He was appointed Service Centre Manager in Mokopane (Potgietersrus) for the Limpopo Economic Development Agency (formerly Northern Province Development Corporation), whereby the core responsibilities providing housing, bonds to middle income individuals, business loans and advisory services to SMEs and big business.
