CEO, Ms. Lebo Leshabane attend the World Women Leadership Congress Ceremony: 13 December 2023
Our CEO, Ms. Lebo Leshabane attended the World Women Leadership Congress Ceremony to accept the Africa’s Woman Leaders Award held at (include the venue). She was also part of a panel that will be discussing Exceptional Women / Leaders of Excellence – Designing a Sustainable World Together.
iX engineers in Saudi Arabia: 15-16 October 2023
iX engineers was part of the business delegation that accompanied H.E President C.M Ramaphosa to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from the 15th – 16th October 2022. The delegation consisted of business representatives from the following targeted sectors: Agro-processing, energy, mining, manufacturing and industrials, health care and pharmaceuticals.

iX engineers was at the WISA Conference from the which took place from the 28th to the 30th of September at the Sandton Convention Centre. We were showcasing our innovative solutions in Water and Sanitation.
iX engineers CEO at the DEVAC - Infrastructure Conference & EXPO: 17-18 May 2023
iX engineers CEO, Ms Lebo Leshabane was part of the panel at the DEVAC – Infrastructure Conference & EXPO that took place at the Hilton hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. The topic in discussion was Decarbonizing the economy – strategies, policies, challenges, prospects & progress: Green technological advancement solutions including infrastructure predictive and preventative maintenance plans.
iX engineers 2nd Annual Gold Day: 11 May 2023
The iX engineers board of directors and staff hosted a golf day on the 12th of May 2022 at the Serengeti Country Club, which was a first of its kind for the company to be hosted in the Gauteng region where our head offices are based.
The day featured rounds of 4 balls made up of iX engineers members and key stakeholders of the business who were invited to enjoy a round of golf, fun, and networking. The day was topped off by a prize-giving dinner which saw our Cape Town division coming out on top at 1st place.

Future Leader Award - BPI Iconic Leadership & Excellence Awards 2022
BPI is a group of professionals from various industries. It started as a WhatsApp group of 300 members. On this platform, members share ideas on various things,
they debate on current affairs, as well as any other matter that is applicable to South Africa. A few years ago, the platform was formalized. The CEO has said that she believes we are all human beings with different gifts, qualities and strengths. Furthermore, she believes this award was received on behalf of all women engineers in the industry, and all women generally. All women have their struggles and stories to tell. The CEO has been in the industry for 20 years and advises that it was not easy from day one.
“Once people realize that you are not interested in politics, you’re interested in making a difference, getting things done, delivering projects and practicing ethical conduct, then people start respecting you for that.” – Ms Leshabane.
The Future Leader Award for which Ms Leshabane was nominated and confirmed, recognizes the following criteria:
• Young professionals and leaders of ages 30 to 50 years who have throughout their careers in any chosen trade across different sectors, demonstrated extraordinary will and resilience to succeed under very difficult conditions.
• Young professionals and leaders who have throughout their careers demonstrated very capable, solid, sound and highly ethical leadership.
• Young professionals and leaders who have thus far in their careers managed to stay clear of professional scandal or any known and/or proven misconduct.
• Young professionals and leaders who are highly regarded by and widely command the respect of their peers beyond the boundaries of their chosen trade or profession, and from across different sectors of society.
• Young professionals and leaders whose leadership The Bpi Foundation, its Advisory Panel and the broader Bpi community declare to be a standard of leadership to which young people should aspire to in their working, community, and societal life, even beyond the age of 50.

iX engineers at the IMESA Conference: 2-3 November 2022
One of our staff members, Ms Nomthandazo Makhushe, presenting at the IMESA Conference. She was presenting on The Role of Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) in Waste Management.
iX engineers CEO at the SITA GovTech Continent's Premiere ICT Conference: 13-15 September 2022
Our CEO, Ms. Lebo Leshabane moderated a round table on Upskilling Digital Skills and the Future of Work in Africa at this year’s SITA GovTech Continent’s Premiere ICT Conference, which took place from 13-15 September 2022.
She was joined by the Deputy Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies (South Africa): Naspers representative and the MICT SETA.
iX engineers at the Youth Entrepreneurship EXPO: 9 July 2022
On Saturday the 9th of July 2022, our Sales & Pursuit Executive - Ndinde Mashegana was a speaker at the Youth Entrepreneurship EXPO held at WITS University. He highlighted the business of iX engineers and how we are actively engaged with uplifting and investing in the youth of South Africa and the innovations and ideas they bring to the market.
