And the award goes to...

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Department of Civil Engineering recently hosted their annual awards ceremony on Thursday the 28th of September 2017, at the Haw and Inglis Hillcrest Quarry Function Venue. The ceremony was held in honour of students who achieved exemplary results in various subjects offered in the Civil Engineering curriculum. The guest speaker for the event was Mr. Manglin Pillay the Chief Executive Officer of the South African Institute of Civil Engineers.

The award for Best Structural Student was sponsored by iX engineers and presented to Ms. CA Behr by Mr. T Karriem, who is also a member of the Structural Engineering team in Cape Town.
